Really great piece of furniture. High quality for how low the price was. It did take quite a while to assemble and put together, so really pay attention to the instructions and pieces labeled in the manual. Overall very happy with purchase!

I am moving and the desk assembly I have is too large, and the color too dark, for my new home. This one fits perfectly, and the light color is very attractive. There is a noticeable different between the quality of the hutch and the other pieces--the hutch being superior. The names are the same, so I assume they are intended to be equal. That's not a negative, just an observation.

I purchased both the L shaped desk, as well as the hutch. They came in 3 boxes, which were very, very heavy - even for 2 people. As other reviewers have said, be sure to put the product together in the space where it will be used. All of the parts were present, all of the predrilled holes lined up perfectly. It is kind of tricky to put together as there are no words, only pictures, but the pictures are good. There were a couple of pages that stated you had to use screw xyz (whatever part number), which looked identical to screw ABC...so be careful with that. The cam lock system works well. However, there are several wood screws used as well. A good ratcheting philllips screwdriver, a flat screwdriver, and a hammer are about all you need. We did use wood glue on a couple of dowels also. The desk took us about 8 hours to assemble. the hutch only about 2 hours.
Overall, the quality is very good, the desk is very sturdy, the hutch is a beautiful addition to it. As I work from home full time, I needed something functional, and beautiful. It met both of those requirements for my small home office. And, it fit nicely into the small 9X10 foot area. Great purchase. Very pleased.

desk was on sale office max, $261 total with shipping and is a tremendous value for sturdiness and look of product. Not real wood, but quality veneered manufactured boards.Desktop is extremely dense and solid . Good heft and feel. Many steps in assembly, 33 actually. But, ez and secure fasteners (spike and lock system). you need only a screwdriver and a hammer to tap a couple small dowels, glue dowel hole up to you. will need a second person for just a few moments to align main desk top surface board. Everything lines up, all holes perfectly aligned and pre-drilled. build it where you are going to use it, ships aroung 180 lbs in two boxes. Great choice. Bush furniture customer service is outstanding. 6 year warranty on this model.
